The Annual Fort Wayne Cherry Blossom Festival - May 19, 2024
This year the festival was held in Walb Student Union at Purdue University-Fort Wayne. Thousands of visitors came to experience Japanese music, food, art and talent.
The festival will be on May 18, 2025 in the same location

The annual picnic will be hold on September 7. 2 pm to 6 pm, in the Japanese Panvilion at Swinney Park West. Everyone is asked to bring Japanese food to share.

This low-key event was scheduled for sometime in April, near the Japanese Pavilion in Swinney Park West. This year was a good year to see the flowers, and we discovered that one tree was a different variety from the other 4 in that it had pink flowers rather than white.
