OHANAMI -
Viewing of the Cherry Trees
2026

This low-key event was scheduled for sometime in April, near the Japanese Pavilion in Swinney Park West. This year was a good year to see the flowers, and we discovered that one tree was a different variety from the other 4 in that it had pink flowers rather than white. However, the flowers matured so quickly that we did not have time to announce a gathering, and it was cold and rainy and during Spring Break. We hope you visited the trees on your own.
We joined with others to support earthquake relief for the Noto Peninsula of Japan.
